The Level of Keratoconus Awareness among the Saudi Population in Riyadh

Aims: This study aims to reveal misconceptions about keratoconus, assess the level of knowledge among Saudi nationals and compare awareness keratoconus between affected unaffected individuals.
 Methodology: A cross-sectional was conducted through an online survey on a population that consisted over age 18 from November until December 2020 in Riyadh, Arabia population.
 Results: Three hundred ten responses were obtained, range participants 50 years oldof which 182 females 128 males. Thirty percent stated they had acquired their internet, while 29% no at all. The majority sample (38.4%) high 31.3% moderate 30.3% low knowledge. significant correlation diagnosis found, patients higher (44.2%) (p value < .05). Moreover, males (60.1%) compared (23.1%) Age effect > .05).
 Conclusion: Riyadh is high. Keratoconus participants. We recommend further assessment with larger size different provinces Kingdom Arabia.
